Who We Are
Hospice Care, a subset of palliative care, is for individuals facing a serious or life-limiting illness.
HOSPICE is hope, and it means that treatment will aim to improve the patient’s quality of life rather than trying to cure the disease. Hospice services are provided where a patient lives, which may be their private residence, an assisted living center, a nursing home, or in some cases, in a hospital.
Our goal is to actively listen to patients and families about what matters most to them, alleviate both physical and psychosocial symptoms, and ensure the best quality of life. Our team will work together to manage symptoms so that one’s remaining days are lived with dignity and surrounded by loved ones.
Family Aid Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc. recognizes that spiritual, medical, and clinical care can contribute to an improved quality of life for patients and their families. Our team of dedicated professionals, guided by the choices and decisions made by the patient consists of:
